In September 2002, the "Stel" installation for manufacturing "anolyte" disinfecting solution was assembled at our Enterprise.

  Prior to use of the "Stel-120-Automate" installation, lysaphine solution was used as a disinfecting solution for tare and equipment at the plant.

  The installation paid for itself within 2 months of operation. At the moment, expenses for manufacture of disinfecting solution are not over 1500 roubles (50 $) per month whereas previously a monthly expenditure of 30000-40000 roubles(1000- 1350 $$) were made for purchasing the lysaphine.

  By our microbiologist's assessment, the efficacy of using the "anolyte" is not inferior to using the lysaphine.

  During the operative period, the failures were quite insignificant and mostly associated with an operating irregularity.

  The installation demands a regular servicing: washing with a hydrochloric acid solution.
